PROPHETIC INSIGHTS FROM THE BOOK OF EZEKIEL FOR THIS SEASON ~ DAY 21
A few years ago, I did a detailed study in the book of Ezekiel. I’m going to be posting the prophetic insights from each chapter over the next little bit. If you want the full teaching, it’s available on my YouTube channel (link below):

I FELL ON MY FACE – THE SWORD OF GOD – EZEKIEL CHAPTER 21
The Sword of God has a double-edged purpose. How will we respond to the Sword of God?
INSIGHTS:
1. The Sword is coming in greater measure (Originally prophesied 20 October 2021).
The Sword of God, which represents judgement, is coming in greater measure. We do not need to fear judgement if we are in Christ. We are safe. It is a realignment to his heart. God is not angry with us.
For the wicked, however, we will see a greater measure of the wrath of God. I don’t say that lightly. In fact, I say it with a heavy heart and a call to repentance. Now is the time to get right with God.
2. The Sword cuts away everything that could come in the place of God.
“Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’ He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.”
Matthew 10:34-39 NKJV
I have a sense in these coming days we must look at what the Sword is cutting away and be thankful for what God is removing. For some of us, this includes personal, family relationships and friendships that are not of God. If anything is coming to take the place of God in our lives, it needs to be cut, most especially if it is toxic. God is bringing realignment to relationships. We need to sit in the tension of the discomfort because there will be great fruit on the other side of it.
3. Will Jesus judge the Church before he returns?
This is an inconvenient truth. Judgement begins in the house of God (1 Pet.4:17). For those of us in the house of God, we must understand judgement is at our doorstep. It is already happening. If we submit to it, it’s realignment. If we fall out of the faith, it will be wrath. Ultimately, it is for our good and to produce fruit. The Lord has been bringing both judgement and restoration simultaneously. If we lean into this correction, we will find restoration being poured out upon us.
Will we respond to the Sword of God?
