I Fell on my Face – In the Furnace – Ezekiel Chapter 22

PROPHETIC INSIGHTS FROM THE BOOK OF EZEKIEL FOR THIS SEASON ~ DAY 22
A few years ago, I did a detailed study in the book of Ezekiel. I’m going to be posting the prophetic insights from each chapter over the next little bit. If you want the full teaching, it’s available on my YouTube channel (link below):

✨️ I FELL ON MY FACE – IN THE FURNACE – EZEKIEL CHAPTER 22 ✨️
👉🏼 We are in the furnace of purification and refinement. Will we submit to the process so that pure silver (redemption) can be produced in our lives?
INSIGHTS:
1. He’s refining us to recover the silver.
Globally, the Church is in a season of refinement (specifically in the West). If it’s feeling hot right now, know you are not alone. We are in the furnace. I believe the purpose of the refining is in order for the Lord to recover the silver from his people. This means redemption. The purposes of judgement is ALWAYS redemption. The Lord is refining silver from us so we can turn and live. We can walk in freedom. We can live in peace in the midst of great chaos. The world’s getting crazier and crazier by the day. We don’t need to drink the Kool Aid.
2. False prophets devour sheep and manipulate and exploit them.
Most false prophets these days come through media. Many of them are on social media. (I say this recognising I do alot of ministry via social media. There is a distinction between the real and the false). These false prophets are purely there to devour sheep and to manipulate and exploit them. How do you tell the difference?
Here’s the rub: never pay a prophet for a prophetic ‘word’. Jesus said, “Freely you have received. Freely give” (Matt.10:8).
3. It’s time to build a strong wall and stand in the gap.
We need to be the watchmen on the wall in this season. We need to repent of prayerlessness (myself included) and get back into the thick of things. We need to pray with intention for our neighbourhoods, our cities, our families, our churches and our regions. Whatever our sphere of influence is, we need to be in prayer right now.
Will we submit to the refiner’s fire in this season?
