I Fell on My Face – Ezekiel is a Sign to You – Ezekiel Chapter 24

PROPHETIC INSIGHTS FROM THE BOOK OF EZEKIEL FOR THIS SEASON ~ DAY 24
A few years ago, I did a detailed study in the book of Ezekiel. I’m going to be posting the prophetic insights from each chapter over the next little bit. If you want the full teaching, it’s available on my YouTube channel (link below):

✨️ I FELL ON MY FACE – EZEKIEL IS A SIGN TO YOU – EZEKIEL – CHAPTER 24 ✨️
👉🏼 God always has plans of restoration and hope. Ezekiel was a sign to Jerusalem. Ezekiel is a sign for our current, global season. Restoration is coming but we must weather the days ahead.
INSIGHTS:
1. How is Ezekiel a sign to us today?
When I entered my 44th year of life in November of 2020, I began to see 444 on repeat almost everyday. Some days it was multiple times a day. This lead me to Ezekiel 44:4. (We will get to this in time). Ezekiel is pointing to the very real fact that society, politics, culture and religion are undergoing great shift and change at a rapid rate. It is a Malachi 4 season where the Lord is turning the hearts of the fathers back to the children and the children to the fathers. At the same time, there is judgement being released. Judgement and restoration are being poured out simultaneously.
Many paradigms are being challenged in the church right now, especially those who do not believe God’s judgement is a New Testament thing. Over the past few years, Ezekiel style prophets and prophetic voices have been arising. (I’m one of them 😌). It’s an Ezekiel mandate called to address idolatry and sin (especially sexual sin) in the church. It’s an ongoing season of exposure. (Originally prophesied November 17, 2021). The Ezekiel mandate also confronts apathy and complacency in the West. The lukewarm church is being thoroughly exposed for its wretchedness.
BUT
For those of us who fear his name, the Son of Righteousness arises with healing in his wings (Mal.4:2). If you are a follower of Christ, you do not need to be afraid of what is shaking in our world. Quite the opposite. It’s time to get excited. Ezekiel is a sign to you of coming restoration. Of dry bones coming to life (Ez.37). Of an exceedingly great army arising (Ez.37)! Now is the time to be decreeing resurrection life.
2. Restoration and hope arise out of long dead things.
This is a key message from the book of Ezekiel. What we are walking through right now might be difficult, but he is stirring hope deep within the heart. It’s not over. We should be lifting our heads up beholding him (Ez.44:4). When we look upon him we realise it’s not over. Our hope and our redemption draws nigh. Let’s not get distracted by what’s going on around us. Let’s not surrender to fear. Let’s not listen to the false prophets of the media. Let’s press in to that place of peace and redemption and know that whatever happens we can weather the storm because he is ALWAYS good no matter what.
Will we look up?
