About Naomi Byers Ministries

Welcome to Naomi Byers Ministries. If you’re exploring prophetic ministry with a heart for humility, Scripture-centred formation, and authentic community, you’re in the right place. We know many come here with curiosity, caution, or even past disappointment — and we’re glad you’re here.

Naomi Byers Ministries exists to serve the Church by forming mature, Scripture-anchored prophetic people who love Christ and honour his Body. The ministry began online in October 2019 and has since grown organically into Naomi Byers Ministries (NBM), the Nesher community, and Mt Moriah School of the Seers (MMS), operating under the parent association of Mt Moriah Ministries (MMM). From its beginnings, the work has been shaped by seasons of prayer, learning, and lived discipleship, with a conviction that prophetic identity is not primarily about gifting alone, but about becoming people of integrity, vulnerability, and deep trust in Jesus.

Our theological foundation is rooted in the pattern of the Zadokite priesthood described in Ezekiel 44 — priests who “kept charge of My sanctuary” and were those who drew near to minister to God (Ezek. 44:15). We pursue spiritual integrity, wisdom, compassion, and authentic leadership in all aspects of ministry. This isn’t an abstract idea for us — it grew out of seasons of waiting with God, wrestling with our own questions, and learning that prophetic sensitivity without character can harm rather than help. The Sons of Zadok were faithful not because they were perfect, but because they stayed close to the Lord in the midst of confusion, wandering, and change.

If you’re here because you’ve been wounded by spiritual leadership, confused by prophetic language, or longing for clarity and peace in your walk with God — we want to affirm you. Our ministry language is rooted in Scripture and shaped by life, not by hype. You are welcome here, and your questions matter.

Relationship to the Church

Naomi Byers Ministries exists to serve the wider Body of Christ and operates in complement to, not competition with, the local church. We affirm the centrality of the local church as God’s primary means of discipleship, pastoral care, and communal life, and we encourage all who engage with this ministry to remain rooted in healthy local church communities.

Our Zadokite theological framework, drawn from Ezekiel 44, is not a claim to separation or spiritual hierarchy, but a call to faithfulness — to those who “kept charge of My sanctuary” when others turned aside. In this sense, the Sons of Zadok model shapes our posture of humility, submission to Scripture, and attentiveness to God’s presence, rather than any notion of elite status or independent authority.

Accordingly, teaching, prophetic formation, and ministry practice within Naomi Byers Ministries are exercised with discernment, accountability, and respect for ecclesial boundaries, seeking to strengthen — not supplant — the life and witness of the Church.

Governance & Accountability

In keeping with the biblical pattern of the Sons of Zadok, whose faithfulness was expressed through obedience, restraint, and reverence for God’s order, Naomi Byers Ministries is committed to clear governance, safeguarding, and accountable leadership.

We believe that spiritual authority is never exercised in isolation, and that healthy prophetic ministry requires appropriate structures, transparency, and communal discernment. Governance within this ministry exists to protect people, honour Christ, and support long-term faithfulness rather than short-term influence.

Details regarding governance structures, safeguarding commitments, and ministry accountability can be found in our dedicated Governance & Safeguarding pages.

Meet the founder — a teacher, writer, and prophetic voice committed to Scripture-centred formation.

Naomi Byers is a teacher, writer, and prophetic voice who has been shaped by years of pastoral engagement, community life, and lived experience in a variety of ministry contexts. She’s walked through joys, doubts, and seasons of waiting prayerfully for the Lord’s direction. Alongside her husband and children — and often with their cats underfoot — she finds her roots in Brisbane and on the land at Mt Moriah in the Somerset Region. This everyday life of family, farm, and faithful discipleship informs her belief that ministry is more about intimacy with the Lord than it is about influence.

At the heart of Naomi’s work is a desire to see prophetic ministry grounded in holiness, humility, and faithfulness to Christ rather than personality, platforms, or performance. She carries a particular burden for those navigating prophetic calling who long for clarity, safety, and formation rooted in Scripture and the life of the Church.

Drawing from the biblical pattern of the Sons of Zadok in Ezekiel 44, Naomi’s teaching and leadership emphasise proximity to God’s presence, faithfulness over prominence, and service rather than status. This Zadokite vision shapes the culture, governance, and formation pathways of Naomi Byers Ministries and Mt Moriah School of the Seers.

Naomi lives in Brisbane with her family and spends much of her time in the Somerset Region at Mt Moriah — a farm and ministry location where teaching, prayer, hospitality, and real life intersect. Between family rhythms and tending to a small herd of beloved cats (not to mention cows and a quirky donkey), Naomi’s life is shaped by the ordinary moments of faith, laughter, and struggle. These everyday experiences deepened her conviction that real formation happens in the midst of life — not apart from it.

Naomi and her family are active members of a small, country Baptist church in the Somerset Region of Queensland, where they enjoy worshipping and serving within their local community.

Thank you for spending time here. May your journey with Christ be marked by trust, Scripture, and faithful community. If you’d like to connect, explore what’s next through our Mission and Ecosystem pages, or reach out via our Contact page.
