PROPHETIC INSIGHTS FROM THE BOOK OF EZEKIEL FOR THIS SEASON ~ DAY 20

I FELL ON MY FACE – FIRE IN THE FOREST – EZEKIEL CHAPTER 20 
Fire is set to move in our land. Are we ready?INSIGHTS:
1. The time of counting sheep is upon us.
I’m not speaking of counting sheep in order to go to sleep. In Ezekiel 20, the sheep were counted and separated from the goats as they passed under the Shepherd’s rod. I do believe the Lord is counting the sheep right now. Who are the sheep? Who are the goats? Who’s passing under his rod of correction right now? Are we numbered as sheep? Important question!
2. The Lord is dealing with lukewarm Christianity
“For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?”
1 Peter 4:17 NKJV
The Lord is dealing strongly with lukewarm Christianity. Jesus desires us to be hot or cold. That is either red hot for God or totally cold to the things of this world. Use the analogy either way. That is what it means. It’s important for all of us to check the condition of our hearts (myself included). Why? There is a fire being set in the forest.
3. There is a fire set in the forest…
This fire in the forest is judgement. Those of us who have stayed intimate with the Lord in the secret place, who have dealt with the idols of the heart, will find the fire will kindle within us great power and authority to manifest the kingdom here on earth. But for others, that fire will burn up and remove all that is not of God. It is a refiner’s fire. It is preparing the way for the wave of glory which is coming after the judgement. That is something to be excited about.
We must not fear the judgement of God if we are in Christ. It ultimately brings about restoration and wholeness. It’s a turning of hearts back to the Father (Mal.4). Is there fire in your land? If we have an unshakable faith in him and his goodness, then we will be excited for the fire in our land.
Are we ready for the fire in the forest?
