PROPHETIC INSIGHTS FROM THE BOOK OF EZEKIEL FOR THIS SEASON ~ DAY 29
A few years ago, I did a detailed study in the book of Ezekiel. I’m going to be posting the prophetic insights from each chapter over the next little bit. If you want the full teaching, it’s available on my YouTube channel (link below):

I FELL ON MY FACE – THE HORN OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL – EZEKIEL CHAPTER 29
When times get tough, the temptation to return to bondage can be overwhelming. Can we allow him to infuse us with his strength instead?
INSIGHTS:
1. Does bondage look attractive to you?
Times are tough right now. The temptation to return to bondage when we are experiencing difficulty can be really overwhelming. If you are feeling the temptation to return to sin or an old habit, know you are not alone. The way out of this temptation is to receive his strength instead. We surrender our weakness and allow him to infuse us with his strength. It is normal human weakness to look at bondage and be attracted to it again even though we’ve been set free from it. Do not allow condemnation to speak to you in this space. Silence its voice and press in to your righteous identity in Christ.
Recall the Israelites wandering in the desert wanted to return to Egypt for some minor conveniences. They disdained the Bread of heaven released to them each day.
“Now the mixed multitude who were among them yielded to intense craving; so the children of Israel also wept again and said: “Who will give us meat to eat? We remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic; but now our whole being is dried up; there is nothing at all except this manna before our eyes!”
Numbers 11:4-6 NKJV
2. God is restoring strength to you for the days ahead.
Bondage can look attractive when we take our eyes off the daily manna, the Bread of heaven he gives us each day. We can get distracted. What we need for the difficult days ahead is to receive his strength. Sit in the weakness. Admit it to God and watch him work powerfully in our circumstances. His power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Cor.12:9).
Can we resist the yoke of bondage and be infused with his strength instead?
