PROPHETIC INSIGHTS FROM THE BOOK OF EZEKIEL FOR THIS SEASON ~ DAY 30
A few years ago, I did a detailed study in the book of Ezekiel. I’m going to be posting the prophetic insights from each chapter over the next little bit. If you want the full teaching, it’s available on my YouTube channel (link below):

INSIGHTS:
1. Is our confidence in ourselves?
This is a question we seriously need to ask the Holy Spirit. As we get still before him, we ask him to bring conviction in this area (myself included). We ask him to highlight areas in our lives where our confidence is in ourselves. Are there unsurrendered areas of our heart? He’s calling us into a deeper level of surrender.
2. Do we trust in God’s arm to save?
I’ve titled this chapter “Strong Arms or Broken Arms?”. If we rely on our own strength, that strength will ultimately be broken by the trials and the tribulations of life. If we are trusting in our own strength,, we are already in a world of hurt. We are broken and we shall continue to be broken.
Rather, if we are broken before him and allow his strength to infuse us, we’re going to come through this. We must allow him to strengthen our feeble arms that hang down. This is where we receive our strength and healing.
“Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.”
Hebrews 12:12-13 NKJV
Can we surrender the need to have confidence in ourselves? Or will we lean on our own understanding rather than trusting in his ways? If we choose the latter, we’re going to be broken by the days ahead.
3. YHWH is dealing with idolatry in the Church first.
I’ve been saying this for a while now. Ultimately this all comes down to idolatry in our heart. The Lord is dealing with idolatry right across the globe. He’s beginning with the Church. He’s putting his finger on idols in our heart. For many of us, this idol is our own strength and our own ability. When we think we can do it in our own strength, it’s an idol. As with all idols, it needs to be torn down, broken and placed on the altar before the Lord.
Is our confidence in ourselves or our never-failing God?
