Prophetic Word: The Sea of Glass and the Coming Redemption – A Word for Crossing Over In 2024

Released on the 22nd of December 2023
This word was submitted to numerous prophets for weighing and judging along with the elders of this ministry Ps Robert and Ester Ford of Hephzibah Ministries email: Any feedback and adjustments have been added before the release of this word.

I have released a word from this dream publicly twice already. The Lord has not left me alone concerning this dream, however. He has told me there is more to be revealed and so I’ve been obedient to bring this to you today. The Lord has not permitted me to release the heavier elements of this word until now as I have had to go through my process of maturing as a prophetic voice. The Lord was quite insistent with me that NOW is the time to release this. I believe this is due to the increased exposure we have seen in the Body of Christ lately and the urgency of this message for those who have been subject to spiritual abuse. I submit this to you now in humility and the fear of the Lord.

In the dream, I was suspended over an ocean looking at an island with very tall, green trees. On the island, there were these sheep harnessed to a sled much like the snow dogs wear in the snow. In hot pursuit, of these sheep were wolves also harnessed in a sled. The pursuit was taking place along the seashore.

All of a sudden, a great wave surged in the ocean. It divided in two much like the parting of the Red Sea. Two waves then crashed into the shore. Immediately the wolves were no more. They had vanished. The sheep were now riding on the water effortlessly as the wave had crashed into the shore like a tsunami. The sea was now still.

The rider of the sled unharnessed a little lamb from the group. It began to walk across the water towards me. I was reaching out to embrace it as I woke up.

The wolves in the dream are probably fairly self-explanatory. They are the wolves in sheep’s clothing Jesus warned us to be wary of (Matt.7:15).

The significance of the sea becoming still I believe represents the Sea of Glass spoken of in Revelation 15. We will go there shortly. We must begin however in the Song of Moses.

After the crossing of the Red Sea and the deliverance from the Egyptians, Moses sang a song in Exodus 15. In Deuteronomy 32, towards the end of Moses’ life, Moses once again sings a song. I want to highlight a few things about the Song of Moses corporately for the Church and more specifically the true Ecclesia.

“Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the LORD, and spoke, saying:
“I will sing to the LORD,
For He has triumphed gloriously!
The horse and its rider
He has thrown into the sea!
The LORD is my strength and song,
And He has become my salvation;
He is my God, and I will praise Him;
My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.
The LORD is a man of war;
The LORD is His name.
Pharaoh’s chariots and his army He has cast into the sea;
His chosen captains also are drowned in the Red Sea.
The depths have covered them;
They sank to the bottom like a stone.
“Your right hand, O LORD, has become glorious in power;
Your right hand, O LORD, has dashed the enemy in pieces.”

Exodus 15:1-6 NKJV

Concerning my dream, when the wave rose and was split in two, it was the right-hand part of the waves that hit the wolves and took them out. I see this as a judgement of God. We have been in this season of divine judgment for the last few years. It has been a season of judgement and restoration being poured out simultaneously. There is judgment for the wolves. There is restoration and redemption for the sheep. Why? Jesus is passionately zealous for his beloved sheep, most especially the ONE.

The right hand of God discussed in the above passage, I believe was the right-hand part of the wave that eliminated the wolves. The sheep remained intact, riding on the water in the Sea of Glass.

“And in the greatness of Your excellence
You have overthrown those who rose against You;
You sent forth Your wrath;
It consumed them like stubble.
And with the blast of Your nostrils
The waters were gathered together;
The floods stood upright like a heap;
The depths congealed in the heart of the sea.
The enemy said, ‘I will pursue,
I will overtake,
I will divide the spoil;
My desire shall be satisfied on them.
I will draw my sword,
My hand shall destroy them.”

Exodus 15:7-9 NKJV

I want to speak now to many people who are watching the mess that is happening in the Body of Christ, notably IHOPKC and other ministries/ministers that have fallen recently. I know it is deeply grieving. I am so broken over this. I do believe, however, that this has been a sovereign move of God stepping in and administering justice. (Please remember these actions grieve God’s heart too. He has given time and space to repent and the time is up). Seeing these circumstances play out is very triggering for many of you. I’ll be honest to say it is triggering for me too as a former victim of spiritual abuse in the 80s and 90s.

Please hear my heart in this, recognising these abuses does not mean we do not have grace for leaders. We must always have grace for leaders.

For many of you, this is triggering other church experiences you have had that have not yet been healed. The Lord is breathing on those wounds right now and he’s saying, “Remember, vengeance is mine” (Rom.12:19). We need to leave our hurts with the Lord, allow him to heal our hearts, forgive and move on. (Please note this is a process a good proportion of the time). The Song of Moses is instructive for this. Let’s keep reading.

“You blew with Your wind,
The sea covered them;
They sank like lead in the mighty waters.”

Exodus 15:10 NKJV

In the dream, the wolves were instantaneously gone. God can do it in a moment. God’s justice is swift.

“Who is like You, O LORD, among the gods?
Who is like You, glorious in holiness,
Fearful in praises, doing wonders?
You stretched out Your right hand;
The earth swallowed them.
You in Your mercy have led forth
The people whom You have redeemed;
You have guided them in Your strength
To Your holy habitation.
Fear and dread will fall on them;
By the greatness of Your arm
They will be as still as a stone,
Till Your people pass over, O LORD,
Till the people pass over
Whom You have purchased.”

Exodus 15:11-13, 16 NKJV

These are the sheep gliding on the Sea of Glass.

“You will bring them in and plant them
In the mountain of Your inheritance,
In the place, O LORD, which You have made
For Your own dwelling,
The sanctuary, O Lord, which Your hands have established.
“The LORD shall reign forever and ever.”

Exodus 15:17-18 NKJV

I want to make this clear, the judgement released against the wolves is not just leaders. The scripture speaks of wolves in SHEEP’S clothing (Matt.7:15). Often the wolves are not leaders they are people who have infiltrated the Body of Christ with nefarious intentions. Sadly, I see so many ‘sheep’ or other Christians on social media daily tearing one another apart. This is wolfish. It is not the behaviour of sheep, and it isn’t okay. The Lord is dealing with this, and he is dealing with it swiftly. We must all check our hearts on this and allow the Holy Spirit to bring conviction. Time is short.

Now let’s turn to the Song of Moses at the end of his life. This is so important for crossing over.

“Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak;
And hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
Let my teaching drop as the rain,
My speech distill as the dew,
As raindrops on the tender herb,
And as showers on the grass.
For I proclaim the name of the LORD:
Ascribe greatness to our God.
He is the Rock, His work is perfect;
For all His ways are justice,
A God of truth and without injustice;
Righteous and upright is He.”

Deuteronomy 32:1-4 NKJV

I would encourage you to read through all of the Song of Moses in Deuteronomy 32. It’s quite long and a little heavy in places. However, pure doctrine is instructive for the Church in this season. We have so much mixture and confusion at present. The Lord is weeding out doctrine that has become harmful to the sheep. Jesus loves his sheep. They are his inheritance. He is passionately in love with them. Be careful who you are listening to in this season. Not everyone who names the name of Christ is a follower of Jesus. Many things are happening in the name of the Lord that are not the Lord.

“Vengeance is Mine, and recompense;
Their foot shall slip in due time;
For the day of their calamity is at hand,
And the things to come hasten upon them.’
“For the LORD will judge His people
And have compassion on His servants,
When He sees that their power is gone,
And there is no one remaining, bond or free.”

Deuteronomy 32:35-36 NKJV

As hard as this is to say, the Lord says there will be more of these ministries falling in the coming days. Do not be shocked. Stay close to the Lord in the secret place. The Lord says the time is up for the ill-treatment of the sheep at the hands of wolves. I believe we will see more of this exposure before March of 2024 coinciding with Biblical New Year. Prepare your hearts for that and understand that it is God who takes vengeance. We do not avenge ourselves. The Lord sees our power is small. He sees we are being pursued. He is dealing with it swiftly. Take heart in all this chaos. Keep your heart sweet in the secret place. Allow him to heal you. Release people. Forgive them. Release bitterness. Allow God to avenge you. His hand is swift to save.

“Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people;
For He will avenge the blood of His servants,
And render vengeance to His adversaries;
He will provide atonement for His land and His people.”

Deuteronomy 32:43 NKJV

I want to point out something here. I believe the last verse of this passage is speaking to the Church because it says, “O Gentiles with His people.” The people at this point are the Hebrew Israelites. Isn’t it amazing to see that right back at the time of the Law of Moses there was always an inclusionary clause for all nations or Gentiles who are now grafted into the Vine? The text says we ought to rejoice. We must rejoice in the difficult times we are walking in at the minute and in the difficult times we will step into in 2024. I’d like to tell you it’s getting easier. It’s not. We are commanded to rejoice, however, because God’s got this, and HE is the one who will deliver the recompense. HE is the one who will avenge his people. We need only stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.

“My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.”

Psalm 121:2 NKJV

As we cross over, we must be intentional about pressing in very closely to the Lord. He is our help. As we see structures crumble, we need to keep our eyes fixed on him. Shaking will continue to intensify. (I feel this strongly into 2025 especially). Please weigh this carefully with the Lord as I could be wrong with my timing.

“And the word of the LORD came to me, saying, “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD to the shepherds: “Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks? You eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool; you slaughter the fatlings, but you do not feed the flock. The weak you have not strengthened, nor have you healed those who were sick, nor bound up the broken, nor brought back what was driven away, nor sought what was lost; but with force and cruelty you have ruled them. So they were scattered because there was no shepherd; and they became food for all the beasts of the field when they were scattered. My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and on every high hill; yes, My flock was scattered over the whole face of the earth, and no one was seeking or searching for them.”

‘Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD: “As I live,” says the Lord GOD, “surely because My flock became a prey, and My flock became food for every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, nor did My shepherds search for My flock, but the shepherds fed themselves and did not feed My flock”— therefore, O shepherds, hear the word of the LORD! Thus says the Lord GOD: “Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will require My flock at their hand; I will cause them to cease feeding the sheep, and the shepherds shall feed themselves no more; for I will deliver My flock from their mouths, that they may no longer be food for them.”

Ezekiel 34:1-10 NKJV

The Lord is speaking to the shepherds who do not feed the sheep. Shepherds must feed their sheep. If they are more concerned with building their vision (their empires) rather than building the Kingdom, they will be swiftly judged in this season leading into 2024 and beyond.

Please hear my heart. I love shepherds. I have some amazing ones in my life. I say this in the fear of the Lord and with many tears. True shepherds have a heart for people and they feed the sheep. A beautiful picture of this is Jesus’ restoration of Peter in John’s gospel.

“So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?”
He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”
He said to him, “Feed My lambs.”
He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?”
He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”
He said to him, “Tend My sheep.”
He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?”
And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.”
Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.

John 21:15-17 NKJV

Jesus is restoring any shepherd willing to repent in this season for building an empire instead of building the Kingdom—for feeding themselves, rather than feeding the sheep. There is redemption for ALL of those who press in—shepherd and sheep alike. Remember Jesus’ injunction and commandment to the disciples was not to go and build the Church. Jesus said HE would build his Church in Matthew 16 and the gates of hell would not prevail against it. He commanded the disciples to go and make disciples. That is the Great Commission. Feeding the sheep is the paramount duty of the shepherd.

The Song of Moses relates directly to the Song of the Lamb in Revelation 15.

“And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God. They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying:
“Great and marvelous are Your works,
Lord God Almighty!
Just and true are Your ways,
O King of the saints!
Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name?
For You alone are holy.
For all nations shall come and worship before You,
For Your judgments have been manifested.”

Revelation 15:2-4 NKJV

In my dream, there was a fire on the water that hit the sheep, not on the wolves that were taken out. The Song of Moses contains great judgment. The Song of the Lamb speaks of redemption and restoration. We must marry the Song of Moses with the Song of the Lamb. This is the season we are in. Judgement and restoration are being poured out simultaneously. For those who press into the secret place, redemption and restoration are coming. We must stay in that place of worship and adoration. Jesus has already paid the price. We are gloriously free. The Red Sea crossing is behind us. Therefore, we must be in the place of declaring victory because the Lord has already done it.

Many have been hurt by the church. Let’s park here for a moment and differentiate between church hurt and spiritual abuse. Church hurt happens all the time. It’s common and it’s not necessarily people’s fault. It occurs because we have unmet expectations. We feel unseen or there is miscommunication of a sort. Church hurt is 100% our responsibility to acknowledge and communicate where possible. Spiritual abuse is where someone has used their position of power to manipulate, to control, to abuse. It usually involves gaslighting. It is serious. If you are in this scenario—GET OUT. No matter what environment we find ourselves in, however, the exhortation is to rejoice in the Lord. He is the one who will deal with this. We must make sure we keep our hearts pure in this place because ultimately we cannot control what other people do or what they say. We can only take it to the Lord in prayer. Release. Forgive. Be free.

“Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things that are not yet done,
Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand,
And I will do all My pleasure…”

Isaiah 46:10 NKJV

On the Sea of Glass, we are declaring the end from the beginning. It started with the Song of Moses. It ends with the Song of the Lamb. In all of this, God will have his way. The Song of the Lamb can be instructive for us in this season.

Let’s finish with a blessing.

At the end of Moses’ life, he leaves the sons of Israel with a blessing. The blessing that was bestowed upon Joseph is what I feel to leave with those who have felt like you’re on the outer. For some of you, this has been spiritual abuse—some horrendous, horrific things within churches or ministries. The Lord is speaking this blessing over you as we step forward and cross over into 2024. We stand upon the Sea of Glass and rejoice in our coming redemption.

“And of Joseph he said:
“Blessed of the LORD is his land,
With the precious things of heaven, with the dew,
And the deep lying beneath,
With the precious fruits of the sun,
With the precious produce of the months,
With the best things of the ancient mountains,
With the precious things of the everlasting hills,
With the precious things of the earth and its fullness,
And the favor of Him who dwelt in the bush.
Let the blessing come ‘on the head of Joseph,
And on the crown of the head of him who was separate from his brothers.”

Deuteronomy 33:13-16 NKJV

For those of you who have felt so isolated, so separated by circumstances outside of your control, the Lord is speaking a very sweet and precious anointing over you. You have been highly favoured with precious things and you’re going to step into more of that in 2024. He is restoring your dignity for those of you who have had your dignity taken away from you because of what has happened by the attack of the wolves. The restoration is coming. You are highly favoured with precious things. Expect to see more of the favour of God in this new year as we step into another season, specifically around March of 2024. He’s restoring your dignity.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we come to you with open hearts. For those of us who have had our hearts torn and rendered by the wolves, we now forgive, release and bless these people. (You might need to name them specifically). We release them into the power of our forgiveness. You have given us, Lord, the power to cancel debts of unforgiveness. You have forgiven us of much, so we release others. Holy Spirit, grant us wisdom as to whether to engage with these people, or whether it is wise to just simply withdraw and keep ourselves safe. If we need to have conversations, Holy Spirit, please give us clarity in the mighty name of Jesus. For those of us who have had our hearts so rendered and torn, we press in and hand over vengeance to you. We surrender it. We say, Lord, you are our recompense. You are our vindication. Vengeance is yours. We will not repay. It is for you to repay. Thank you that you will repay swiftly as you have promised. We thank you Lord as we crossover into 2024 and beyond, you are swiftly dealing with these circumstances. All we need do is stand still and see the salvation of the Lord in the mighty name of Jesus. As we do, we’ll be able to walk on the Sea of Glass containing the fire of the glory of God. We will sing praises to the Lamb who has already set us free. We rejoice in our redemption even if we don’t see it yet. We look to you because you are our help. Man’s help is useless. You are the one we look to. You give us the help. We thank you that you favour us and bless us with the precious things coming into 2024 and beyond. We are highly favoured with the sweet things of heaven that grant us authority in high places where we can declare the goodness of God. Whoever you’ve called us to in our sphere of influence, we pray they are fed. Lord, feed them with the manna of heaven. Jesus, you are the bread of heaven that has come down and from this, we feed your sheep. We commit to feeding those within our sphere of influence and nourishing them because they, Lord, are your inheritance. Jesus, we recognise they are precious to you. So, we love and honour each one individually as well as the corporate body. Thank you that no matter what is coming for the church in 2024-2025 and beyond, the promise is the ecclesia—the called-out ones—will be able to ride on the Sea of Glass singing the Song of the Lamb along with the Song of Moses. Whatever judgement is coming, you will see that fulfilled to bring restoration and redemption. We lift up leaders who have fallen. We pray for them, Lord. We pray for restoration. We pray for their families. We release forgiveness over them, Lord, in the mighty name of Jesus. Where there have been ruptures in the hearts of the dispossessed and hurting, Lord, we ask you to pour in the healing balm of Gilead in the mighty name of Jesus. We thank you and we give you all the glory, honour and praise. Amen.
