PROPHETIC INSIGHTS FROM THE BOOK OF EZEKIEL FOR THIS SEASON ~ DAY 8
A few years ago, I did a detailed study in the book of Ezekiel. I’m going to be posting the prophetic insights from each chapter over the next little bit. If you want the full teaching, it’s available on my YouTube channel.

I FELL ON MY FACE – LIFT YOUR EYES TO THE NORTH – EZEKIEL CHAPTER 8
Question: What are we beholding?
INSIGHTS:
1. We must remember WE are the temple of the Holy Spirit.
The temple full of abominations in the book of Ezekiel is a type of the human heart. We must search our own hearts and minds in this season of cleansing and purification of the church.
“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NKJV
2. Be careful little eyes what you hear.
Remember this old Sunday school song?
“Be careful little ears what you hear
Oh be careful little ears what you hear
There’s a Father up above
And he’s looking down with love
So be careful little ears what you hear”
We need to remember we are his kids and be careful what our ears and eyes are consuming. Garbage in, garbage out. We need to be committed to keeping our vessels clean. We especially need to be blocking out those whispering lies of the enemy.
3. The Lord is restoring purity in this hour.
For many of us who’s purity was stolen at a young age (including mine), the Lord is restoring our purity. Those who are struggling with sexual purity in particular, I want to assure you the love of the Father is zealous for you right now. Reach out for the extended hand of help. He is restoring us to wholeness. Jesus is returning for a Bride without spot or wrinkle. She will be glorious!
“…that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.”
Ephesians 5:27 NKJV
4. Lift your eyes to the north.
The north can represent a number of things. I feel specifically it is a recalibration. We are resetting our eyes on true north. If we find ourselves struggling with purity, we shouldn’t be hiding in shame. We should turn our faces towards our loving heavenly Father and say, “Abba, I need a Father’s help.”
