Circumcision of the Heart ~ The Roman Road

I believe this is a season of consecration. We are collectively crying out for revival but I hear the Lord saying, “Revival begins with consecration”. Now is the time to posture our hearts in repentance and consecration for what is yet to come. Paul talks about this in Romans 2 as a “circumcision of the heart”. ⠀

“Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and restraint and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?”⠀

Romans 2:4 NASB⠀

God is incredibly kind but we must respond to His kindness with repentance. This is a shifting of our focus and perspective to align with kingdom values and not our own fleshly pursuits. ⠀

This invitation is open to all. God is impartial. Come one, come all and feast at His banqueting table.

“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my [brimming] cup runs over.”

Psalms 23:5 AMPC

“For God shows no partiality.”⠀

Romans 2:11 ESV⠀

Finally, we must seek the approval of God and not men. This is where true circumcision of the heart occurs–the fear of God and not the fear of man.⠀

“But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter; and his praise is not from people, but from God.”⠀

Romans 2:29 NASB⠀

Consecrate yourself to Him afresh today. It is all about the heart. Are you ready for consecration and circumcision in the secret place? Drop us a comment…⠀
