I dreamt last night of a couple trying to stop a terrorist from bombing a hospital. This terrorist was a man in black. When they were working together, they easily foiled his plans. However, when the wife was separated from her husband, she was blinded by the ‘man in black’. She couldn’t see where the attack was coming from.
As I awoke I heard, “Only Jesus” in my spirit. I believe this is a word for the Body of Christ corporate.
If the Church is ‘spiritually blind’, she cannot effectively defeat the schemes of the enemy. I believe this blindness is coming from a lack of unity and a need to extend forgiveness.
If you freely forgive anyone for anything, then I also forgive him. And if I have forgiven anything, I did so for you before the face of Christ, so that we would not be exploited by the adversary, Satan, for we know his clever schemes.
2 Corinthians 2:10-11 TPT
Unforgiveness is an open door for demonic torment, both personally and corporately. The Church strives in vain if she forgets to forgive. I say “forget” intentionally because forgiveness is an ongoing, spiritual discipline.
Know your righteous identity
I also believe a lack of understanding of our righteous identity in Christ is causing spiritual blindness.
So devote yourselves to lavishly supplementing your faith with goodness, and to goodness add understanding, and to understanding add the strength of self-control, and to self-control add patient endurance, and to patient endurance add godliness, and to godliness add mercy toward your brothers and sisters, and to mercy toward others add unending love. Since these virtues are already planted deep within, and you possess them in abundant supply, they will keep you from being inactive or fruitless in your pursuit of knowing Jesus Christ more intimately. But if anyone lacks these things, he is blind, constantly closing his eyes to the mysteries of our faith, and forgetting his innocence —for his past sins have been washed away.
2 Peter 1:5-9 TPT
Do not close your eyes to the fullness of God already dwelling within you. Do not forget your innocence. You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
Finally, we must remember “Only Jesus”. HE is our reward (Gen. 15:1). Nothing else. WITH Him, we can do all things.
O give us help against the adversary, for vain (ineffectual and to no purpose) is the help or salvation of man. Through God we shall do valiantly, for He it is Who shall tread down our adversaries.
Psalm 60:11-12 AMPC
Many of you are crying out for help right now, but vainly looking to man (government, people etc…) to solve your problems. The Father wants you to know today we can do NOTHING outside of partnership with Christ that will bear good and lasting fruit. ONLY JESUS!
Prayer of Activation
In the Name of Jesus, I decree over you the fullness of God in Christ. I pray you come into a deeper revelation and understanding of His power in your weakness. I exhort you to forgive and release those who have sinned against you. Release them into the power of your forgiveness. I break the assignment of fear and terror in the mighty Name of Jesus. I pray, Beloved, you open your eyes today and see you are yoked to Christ and HE is carrying ALL the burden. Rest in His presence today. ONLY JESUS…
