PROPHETIC INSIGHTS FROM THE BOOK OF EZEKIEL FOR THIS SEASON ~ DAY 10
A few years ago, I did a detailed study in the book of Ezekiel. I’m going to be posting the prophetic insights from each chapter over the next little bit. If you want the full teaching, it’s available on my YouTube channel (link below).

INSIGHTS:
1. Look to the east
The significance of the East in the book of Ezekiel can not be overstated. The east can mean the place of his glory, expectancy and a waiting on him. In order for the glory to come though, the fire of judgement must come first. The fire and the glory are DIFFERENT things.
“For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, and all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up,” says the Lord of hosts, “That will leave them neither root nor branch. But to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves.”
Malachi 4:1-2 NKJV
The Lord is dealing with pride. Only the Lord can lay his hand on Leviathan. We must ask the Lord regularly to slay Leviathan in our lives. Pride is a deadly sin. We want to be positioned towards the east where the glory comes from (Ez.44:4). But pride must be dealt with first. Remember the four living creatures described in Ezekiel 1? The Lion is positioned at the east. Also, the tribe of Judah was camped on the eastern side of the Tabernacle during the Israelite sojourn in the desert. Of course, Judah means ‘praise’. (More on this in a moment).
But those who learn the fear of the Lord will grow ‘fat’ on the goodness of God. THEN the glory can come.
2. Praise unlocks the fire and glory of God.
We need the high praises of God in our mouths. In that place where we behold him,
what is not of him falls off us. When we turn aside from the distraction of the present and behold him, we behold his glory.
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”
John 1:14 NKJV
In this space, we will see a rapid increase of signs, wonders and miracles in the earth. More significantly, he’s doing deep healing within us. Why? Because pride and other deadly sins are HEART issues. Only with heart healing can we be truly free and behold the Son of Righteousness with healing in his wings.
Praise and worship are powerful keys in this season. Look at the significance of the East and Judah’s encampment in this verse.
“On the east side, toward the rising of the sun, those of the standard of the forces with Judah shall camp according to their armies; and Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be the leader of the children of Judah.”
Numbers 2:3 NKJV
Are we ready for the fire and glory?
