PROPHETIC INSIGHTS FROM THE BOOK OF EZEKIEL FOR THIS SEASON ~ DAY 44
A few years ago, I did a detailed study in the book of Ezekiel. I’m posting the prophetic insights from each chapter over the next little bit. If you want the full teaching, it’s available on my YouTube channel (link in comments).

INSIGHTS:
1. Heart transformation not behaviour modification.
In Ezekiel 44, there is much discussion about those who can come near to the Lord and minister to him. If we read this outside the context of God’s grace, it can look like a list of do’s and don’ts. But this is not God’s heart for us or how he seeks to build relationship. He is speaking here of the circumcision of the heart which brings us into covenant relationship with him. In relationship and communion with Jesus Christ, we are partakers of the divine nature. God is not after behaviour modification. He wants heart transformation.
Despite this passage looking like a list of do’s and don’ts, God is after our hearts. Once he has our hearts, the Holy Spirit will change and transform us from the inside out. We will no longer desire those things that put us outside of his will for us. We may fall into sin now and again, but we are not happy in that place. Why? Because our heart has been transformed.
2. The emerging Zadokite prophetic, voice – purity, passion and authenticity.
The Zadokite priests in Ezekiel 44 only wore linen when ministering to the Lord. This is so they didn’t sweat. There is no striving in our relationship with the Lord, except to enter his rest (Heb.4:11). Too often we can fall into this rhythm of works and forget that we’re supposed to be operating out of the rest of God. We are not supposed to be sweating. This doesn’t mean we are not doing anything, but we must work from a place of rest.
3. Avoid extremes.
The Zadokite priests were also not able to shave their heads or have long hair. This meant they were to avoid extremes. I see far too much of this behaviour on social media. We can differ in our opinions but still show love and respect for one another as brothers and sisters in Christ. Christian cannibalism is not okay. If we have participated in that kind of behaviour, we need to repent. We may also need to go and apologise to that person. Is what we are saying directed by the Holy Spirit? Are we speaking the truth in love or are we just loving to speak the truth? We need to avoid extremes and find ourselves in the middle of the Virtue Continuum. If we move too far to either side we can find ourselves being either legalistic or licentious. Balanced scales of the Lord’s delight (Prov.11:1).
4. HE is the prize!
When the Lord appeared to Abraham in Genesis 15 and made him the promise that he would father many nations, he exhorted him to remember that HE was his prize and reward (Gen.15:1). HE is our reward. Everything else is just icing on the cake.
5. The emerging Zadokite prophetic voice.
If you have been seeing 444 on repeat, this message may be for you. The Zadokite prophetic voices that are being raised in this hour have some unique characteristics. Zadokites are set apart by 3 things:

Will we come near to minister to him and be set apart for these days ahead?
