Come out of the Cave ~ Prophetic Word

On the 16th of September 2020, I had a vision of beautiful jewellery with large jewels in them. They were suspended over the mouth of a cave opening onto the sea. The jewels were coloured amber and light olive green. I heard the Lord say, “It’s time to come out of the cave.”

His peculiar treasure

So many of us have buried our giftings and talents, but this is a season to let our lights shine brightly in the darkness. You are sorely needed for this time. So am I. It is time for many of us to be “announced” so to speak. He wants to reveal us as His “peculiar treasure”. His very “special possession”. We are the beautiful jewels I saw in my vision.

And they shall be Mine, says the Lord of hosts, in that day when I publicly recognize and openly declare them to be My jewels (My special possession, My peculiar treasure). And I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him.

Malachi 3:17 AMPC

Territory is expanding

The colour of the jewels was also significant as was the size of them. The Lord has decreed territory is expanding and enlarging.

For I will cast out nations before you and enlarge your borders…

Exodus 34:24 ESV

The gemstones in the jewellery were olive green and amber. This represents an increase in both the anointing and glory in our lives and our talents as we continue to steward our gifts well with willing hearts.

We have work to do

We have work to do. Plain and simple. There is a world that needs Jesus. Prayer is needed in the “seat of the image of jealousy.”

He put out the form of a hand and took me by a lock of my head, and the Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven and brought me in visions of God to Jerusalem, to the entrance of the gateway of the inner court that faces north, where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provokes to jealousy.

Ezekiel 8:2 ESV

This represents the power struggle in the West at present for governance. The US Presidential Elections are the tip of the iceberg. There is a real battle for our way of life and the erosion of our Judeo-Christian values as mindless mobs seek to abolish the very foundations of what makes the West fruitful and prosperous. The “groupthink” we have seen in media and culture are clever machinations of the enemy. Countless people are deceived, including Christians.

I am deeply grieved by what I see. I cannot imagine how the Father feels. These things can only be shifted in prayer and it is time to be more intentional with co-ordinating prayer across the globe. This is a global call to prayer. We cannot do everything, but we can all do something. We have work to do…

What is your assignment?

As we step out of the cave and get busy doing the Lord’s work, we need to know what our assignment is in this season. After Elijah’s Mount Carmel showdown with the prophets of Ba’al, he ran from the threat and intimidation of Jezebel. He had accomplished a mighty victory and yet he ran in fear for his life from a single woman. Why? Because there was a spirit behind the intimidation.

We must be careful not to yield to a spirit of intimidation too. We have an assignment in this season. After this threat from Jezebel, Elijah finds himself in a cave crying out to God. God’s answer is to give him an assignment.

Then the Lord said to him: “Go, return on your way to the Wilderness of Damascus; and when you arrive, anoint Hazael as king over Syria. Also you shall anoint Jehu the son of Nimshi as king over Israel. And Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel Meholah you shall anoint as prophet in your place. It shall be that whoever escapes the sword of Hazael, Jehu will kill; and whoever escapes the sword of Jehu, Elisha will kill.

1 Kings 19:15-17 NKJV

Similarly, we have a task to do. The Lord led me to look up the meanings of the names in this passage from 1 Kings 19:15-17. Hazael means God has seen. Jehu is Jehovah is He, and Elisha means my God is salvation. No matter what you have been going through, God has seen. He is Lord over it all. Jehovah or Yahweh means Lord. And above all, He is your Salvation.

Stand on the mountain of God

When God answered Elijah from the cave, he came out wrapped in his mantle and stood on the mountain of God.

Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake, and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire and after the fire a still small voice. So it was, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. Suddenly a voice came to him, and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?

1 Kings 19:11-13 NKJV

The invitation to stand on the mountain of God is always there. Even if we are walking through the valley of the shadow of death, we can ascend the mountain. The ‘mountain’ is a place of victory and triumph. We can always go there no matter what.

Just as Elijah did, we can stand in our victory wrapped in our mantles. These mantles are our assignments in this season. Your mantle may look different to mine, but it is nonetheless important. What is your mantle in this season? If you don’t know, get in the secret place of prayer and press in to hear His heart.

Prayer

If you want to activate into this word, then pray along with me.

Father, we thank You we are Your peculiar treasure and special possession. We repent for hiding our gifts and talents under a bushel. We will let our light so shine before men that they will see our good deeds and glorify You, Father, in the Name of Jesus.  Lord, we thank You for expanding our territory. We yield to the process of stretching and enlarging. Give us courage God for the work we have to do. We will open our mouths wide so You can fill them with Your boldness and wisdom to speak to the darkness and watch it shift in the Name of Jesus. Father, teach us to pray and not give up. In the Name of Jesus, we rebuke a spirit of intimidation. Holy Spirit, baptise us afresh in Your fire and send us forth in Your power. Thank You for the assignments You’ve given us in this season. We will stand on the mountain of the Lord no matter how much discouragement is facing us. We will speak from a place of victory and triumph. Holy Spirit we receive the fresh mantles in this season. We agree with heaven, it is time to come out of the cave. Hallelujah and Amen!

Blessings,

Naomi Byers
